How to Add an Embedded WhatsApp Button

This guide will show you how to add the FAST – WhatsApp Chat button directly to your Shopify store. Before you begin, make sure you’ve already installed the app and completed the setup. 👉 If you haven’t installed the app yet, follow the setup guide here: How to set up FAST – WhatsApp Chat Where You Can Add the Button You can add the FAST – WhatsApp Chat button anywhere in your store — on product pages, homepages, collection pages, or even in the footer. However, for best performance and engagement, we recommend placing it on your product pages, so customers can easily reach out while browsing specific products. Automatic way: Step 1: App admin dashboard First go the app admin dashboard -> Scroll down to the panel "Embedded Button" 1. Checkmark [V] the "Enable embedded button" 2. Click the "Go to Theme Editor" button (you should be redirected straight to your published theme editor and the app block should be added automatically to your product page) Step 2: Save the setup As you can see the button has been added and now you need to hit "Save" Manual way: Step 1: Go to Your Theme Editor 1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. 2. Find your active theme, then click Customize. Step 2: Open the Product Page Template 1. In the top dropdown menu of the Theme Editor, select Products → Default product (or whichever product template you’d like to edit). 2. The product page preview will open. Step 3: Add the App Block 1. In the left sidebar, click Add block where you want the WhatsApp button to appear. 2. Under the Apps section, choose FAST – WhatsApp Chat. 3. Drag and drop the block to your preferred location (we recommend placing it just below the “Add to cart” button). 4. Step 4: Save and Preview 1. Once you’ve added the block, click Save in the top-right corner. 2. Visit your product page — you should now see the WhatsApp Chat button embedded on the page. Finally: Test the Button Important: To test the button you have to Go to your online store and check there, since the button is blocked on the theme editor. On your Online Store click the WhatsApp button to confirm it opens your chat link correctly. If it doesn’t, double-check your configuration inside the FAST – WhatsApp Chat app under Settings → WhatsApp Configuration. Need Help?
